Project Postcard: design chosen!
14th February 2010 09:40 | by Peter Brett
In my last post, I talked about my latest publicity initiative, Project Postcard. The response has been fantastic -- thank you all for your great support! I've had enough interest that I've now been able to place an order for 15,000 cards, and they'll start being sent out in the last week of February. If you haven't paid for your flyers yet -- or if you haven't even ordered any! -- you can now purchase them and provide your shipping details via the new Pirate Party shop.
There were several excellent entries for my competition for the postcard design, and in the end I decided to use a combination of two designs: crumble's eye-catching "Good ideas are made. to be copied" image on the front, and andrewtindall's explanation of the party's core principles on a "circuit board" background on the reverse. Check it out!

So what's the next step in terms of publicising the party? What sort of things should we be doing to let more people know about what we stand for, and to encourage them to join us? We'll be discussing these issues at the next PPUK meeting in Winchester, but if you can't make it feel free to post in the comments here or e-mail me at p.brett@pirateparty.org.uk.
You'll be hearing from me again soon about some of the exciting ideas that members have come up with!
