ORGCON -- will you be there?
21st July 2010 16:57 | by Peter Brett
The Open Rights Group, a UK lobbying organisation that has similar aims to those of the Pirate Party, is holding its conference in London this coming Saturday, the 24th July. We've been given a slot at the end of the day, in which I'm going to be giving a short talkand Q&A about why ORG supportrs should also support the Pirate Party. However, I'm going to need some help during the day to hand out flyers and persuade people that they should come along to our session instead of going straght to the pub -- because I'm sure that going to the pub will be very tempting after a long hard day at a conference! If you're going to be at ORGCON this coming weekend and can give me a hand, please get in touch with me ASAP.

Is our peterbrett speaking after all? TBH my strategy will be speaking with the less beardy more piraty attendees about us.
What I missed when the DEB protest was on, I think it would be good if andrewtindell, peterbrett and m2ys4u and myself had some private discussions (over drinks maybe?) after.
Also I bought an 'existing supporter' £5 ticket, I hope I qualify.
2) Am I more or less beardy?
3) Are you a member of ORG? Then you can use an "existing supporter" ticket. Otherwise you need to pay full price. I suspect borgs8472 may have the wrong ticket.
4) We're going to the ORG pub meet afterwards, where we will continue to attempt to recruit new supporters. No rest for the wicked!

Yes, but I don't know if that applies to fringe sessions, and I've also got some ideas for short videos to record for our YouTube channel.

Yes, that was quite widely stolen.

A lot of people left, and it started late due to the thing before running over, so I felt it was a bit meh.
