Volunteers! Candidates need you

Over the next few days I shall be attempting to get a handle of what is required of myself to best serve our candidates, whom I encourage to contact me with regards to what volunteer resources they think they require. Likewise, I will contact you and make sure that you are hopefully well furnished in the volunteer department.

As we are all aware candidates are being readied to stand in their constituencies and will certainly need our help, if you are willing and able to help them in a volunteer capacity, it would be a great help to know your locations. If helping out candidates sounds like something you can do, please get in touch with me, if you would like to help but fear the candidate you wish to support lives too far away we will endeavour to pair you up with a local volunteer willing to offer some over night accommodation.

This will be a temporary solution, hopefully leading to something more grand and elegant in the near future, perhaps in the form of the issue tracker (created by tuoni and borgs8472) or by using the PPUK wiki to create a jobs list.

As I stated in the beginning I would really like your thoughts and ideas on how I can best help both candidates and volunteers, if you have any ideas contact me either directly or via the Volunteer section of the forum.
