A meetup for Pirates in or near Oxford.
This will be held at the Four Candles, Oxford, on Thursday 12th May.
Meet up 19:30 - 20:00.
This will be the second regular meeting, for more details please see our wiki page.
Location: Oxford, South East England
Start time: Thu 12 May 2011, 7:30 p.m.
End time: Thu 12 May 2011, 9:30 p.m.
The election's over, and hopefully we'll be back to normality soon enough. I'm proposing a social event (not a proper meeting) for Monday evening, so we can get together, share some reflections on the campaign, hopefully welcome some new members too, and of course we have the future to look forward too. It will mainly be a social event though, and a chance to relax a little after a hectic campaign.
If you just head about the Pirate Party during the election, come along and find out more! If you want to know more about, or are interested in joining or getting more involved, come along for a friendly chat with your local Pirate Party team. Members and non-members (really, everyone) welcome.
It will be at 18:30 at Wintersgills. They are located on Great Western Road, near St Georges Cross subway station, in Glasgow. We went there for drinks and friendly chat after the conference, they were great and totally awesome, and the function room we rented out was great.
If you need any more information, please post on the forum thread
Hope to see you there!
Location: Wintersgills, Great Western Road, Glasgow, Scotland
Start time: Mon 16 May 2011, 6:30 p.m.
End time: Mon 16 May 2011, 9 p.m.
As a belated repeat to our meeting on the 27th Of January (I'm afraid Bury happened..) and in a continued effort to get things moving in Sheffield, Rob has organised a second meet up of Sheffield based (well anyone who can be active in Sheffield) PPUK members over a pint.
I will be there from 19:00 until late and, if you don't know me, should be identifiable to some degree by a green jacket and blue jumper. Feel free to call me (phone number is on my user page) first though if you want.
If you want to come please do add your name to the list below, preferably with a link to your user page (if you have one) or email me.
The meet will take place at the Red Deer in town and has no agenda, or formal aims so if you are available, please do drop in, even if it is just to say hello.
If you haven't been to the Red Deer, (and I'll admit I haven't for a while..) it's a good pub with a decent range of beers, IIRC they do coffee too, food (if you feel the need) and take cards...
If you plan to attend or even if you can't, it would be great to hear from anyone in the area, either by email or by adding yourself as active on the Sheffield pages.
Cheers,
In case you haven't yet decided to vote for in the Campaigns Officer election, or if you have any further questions for the candidates about their plans, there will be a debate with the two candidates (Andy Halsall and Graeme Lambert) and the current officer, Peter Brett, on the #ppuk-debate IRC channel on irc.pirateparty.org.uk. For more information, please see this forum thread.
Location: #ppuk-debate IRC channel,
Start time: Wed 25 May 2011, 8 p.m.
