Discuss and suggest ideas for the web-related aspects of the Pirate Party

I know this is going to sound pedantic but on the student landing page there is a typo "If you've do any of the above". This might be nit-picking but I feel that it reflects a lot on a party if it lets little things like that slip under the radar.

I'm not sure about this. It seems like it might be a good idea at some point, but surely at present adding to a mountain of in places somewhat random web presence with more, rather than fixing what is there already is a bad idea. Realistically this is simply going to split the focus of the web team and complicate what is available, broadly increasing management and administrative effort.

Indeed I would argue that segregating student elements from the mainstream arbitrarily (rather than letting the various bits of regional organisation see what works) is somewhat daft at this point.

Lastly, at this point in time I am not aware of (but please correct me if I am wrong) of any specifically PPUK related student organisations, as such it seems that this is an attempt to address an issue that doesn't exist and therefore the effort might be better used in increasing membership numbers at universities and then seeing what they actually want and need....

OK, so do they want a specific web presence? More to the point, is an effort there going to yield better results than fixing what is broken at present? Or do we have the resources now to realistically do both? If there is a yes to all of the above then fine, but at the moment I would question just how effective it would be and what it would actually achieve...

i'd assume the uni-specific pirate sites are for the individual unis, meetings etc.

They already seem to have small local union type pages (although they may not be used as I can't see any/much current activity). Do we have any idea as to the current membership of those groups?
