Meeting?

Postby batgranny » Mon May 07, 2012 12:12 pm

Just wondering, even though there isn't a NIPP as yet, would interested parties be up for an initial meeting? Just to get an idea of numbers and move a bit further towards something tangible.

If I lived in NI i would very much want to go to such a meeting. We really do need to start getting organised there. All elections in NI (except Westminster) use STV (typically in large 6 seat constituencies) which is a good voting system for us.

I agree, plus I think that there is definately potential for a party that doesn't fall on either side of 'the divide' and has a more modern, relevant and progressive outlook.

I know this is an old post but I would just like to add that I am willing to help in any way here in Northern Ireland and I believe we could do very well here with the majority being so fed up with our polar parties making a hash of everything.
