Well, I've been working a lot, so haven't had a chance to organise anything lately.
I think we should get a Glasgow meeting going, we have a lot to talk about: Celebrating the German Pirates plundering their way into the Berlin House of Representatives, growing our local member base and the big issue of next year's council elections.
I'd like to get as many people to attend as possible, given that this will be aour first meeting in so long, and there's lots to talk about.
So, in the spirit of maximising attendance, can everyone let me know their preferences for the following:
Location: We usually go somewhere central, near public transport hubs, to make things easier for people commuting from outside the city. I'd also like to consider meeting somewhere a bit less, well, pub-like. Maybe a coffee shop? Thoughts? Can you state (a) pub/coffee shop/other (please specify)/not bothered (as in will attend either way, can still ofc express a preference), and (b) city centre/other/not bothered.
Day: We tend to go for weekday evenings as places are quiter. The alternative is weekend during the day. The latter may suit people who work during the week better, but I know many people work at the weekends. If everyone could please state dates/days they would be free. Just the day will be fine, if we end up with a weekday prefered I will orgnasie the meeting in the evening, and if it's a sat/sun then during the day.
It'd be great if we could get everyone along, so please take a minute and post and let me know when you're free (you can also email me <f.archiabld@pirateparty.org.uk> if you prefer). I'll send out an email with event details, once we've had enough feedback. Thanks, and hope to see you all soon!
