SE England Meeting -- Winchester, 20th February

Postby PeterBrett » Mon Feb 01, 2010 7:35 pm

We should organise a meeting sometime this month! Any suggestions for a date and a location? ;)

Edit: Now in Winchester at The Old Gaolhouse (map) on 20th February, 15:00 - 18:00.

I'd suggest Winchester, just to be a bit more central than last time, and there's lots of pubs and whatnot nearby to its station.
winchester pubs:

and probably later in the month so as to give people plenty of notice, so maybe like sat 20th or something?

I'd definitely try to make it this time, and there shouldn't be any impediment to me going.

I live pretty close to Winchester so I would be up for a meet there. Out of those pubs I would recommend Wetherspoons or O'Neills's as they are both cheap, close to the station and good for having a chat in.

Winchester on the 20th is doable for me.

We should have a meeting further north within the region at some point -- in Oxford, for example.

depending on the time, 20th might be doable for me - i'd be at work till 3pm, unless I can get the day off (but that is unlikely)

I'm unable to come, I'm afraid. Would be easier were it not term time, but as I'm at uni, travel costs are too high.

I'll be there! will arrive some time after 2:30, I think. can't remember when my train gets in.

of course, that's assuming I don't manage to get lost! :D

edit: indeed, I am leaving now (need to do some things before i head to the station, then just over an hour on the train)

The minutes are now up on the wiki. I think I covered everything -- if I missed anything, let me know (or fix it yourself :P )
