Putting amendments to member votes

We wanted to put proposed amendments to member vote asap, but there are unfortunate delays. If anyone wants to make use of the delay to review any of the proposals and discuss them, have at it!

Talking of this sort of thing; can we get another document showing the new and improved constitution (like the one we had earlier) - just so we can see how it all fits together?

Azrael: if you have the details ready of what you need put to vote, I have the access and ability to put a member votes up / it is nice with a good interface so I don't need tech team assistance with that unless there is a technical fault or issue arising that needs to be fixed, or if the vote is so big and complex or needs something not currently implemented in the member voting system. Last few votes have been very easy to run however, without any technical glitches or hiccups.

My internet access is a bit limited right now/I've had a few other things on the go having just moved last weekend, I am receiving emails reasonably regularly however / you can contact me that way, or I think you & some others have my personal mobile number if you need to talk it through.

JohnB: As many proposed clauses relate to each other I was wanting to see if there was a better way to run the vote instead of a series of unrelated yes/no questions. One option is to clump many clauses together and ask fewer 'bigger' questions, but I'm worried if this might just be more confusing. I was hoping some web-team input would think of a solution I hadn't thought of myself.

It could be that we just go simple that fits the existing system, in which case I'll be in touch with you fairly soon John.

Duke: I aim to put up 2 docs. One showing 'the new constitution should everything get passed', and another tabular view showing the existing clauses and proposed additions/deletions.

Actually Duke, I think this one document (tabular one I mentioned) might show the proposed 'new constitution' without requiring a second document (by all means contradict me if you think a 'new' constitution doc without the red/green stuff would be much easier to read).

That wiki table is quite nice (I've corrected one minor point) - we probably don't need a full document. Although I would suggest once we have finished with this batch of amendments a pdf be created that counts as an "official" version, or something similar.
