Search engine optimisation on our website

Postby cabalamat » Mon Apr 16, 2012 5:15 pm

I've recently created: http://www.pirateparty.org.uk/wiki/Liquid_democracy . (It could probably do with filling out)

One thing I think the party is currently failing at is in SEO. Do a google search on any of "our" topics -- such as"Digital Economy act",
"file sharing", etc, and we won't be on the front page. We should be.

One way to help rectify this would be to create articles on our wiki fro relevant topic, link them together and make sure that Pirate bloggers link to them from our various blogs when we write relevant articles. The article on "Liquid democracy" is my attempt at a start on that.

It's not really an search optimisation issue, but yes, writing rich content articles is a good way to drive additional traffic.
