List Your University Thread

Postby CraigT » Fri Aug 14, 2009 4:08 pm

I have created this thread for students to state where they are currently studying.

The idea came from the following scenario: I am currently studying Goldsmiths, University of London. However, I am leaving in September. I would like to try to set up a Pirate Party UK Student Group, but would need others to run it.

I don;t know if this is a good idea, but it may help to get people together and have them campaigning on campus and forming student groups.

University: Goldsmiths, University of London.

I am at the Univesity of West of England, Bristol.
Very busy in my final year, but might try and get some awareness going.

My mate and I might be going to Warwick uni and Coventry uni distributing flyers...

I am at Warwick.

Just to be sure: I think we should all agree that to distribute party materials should be a coordinated effort of the party (ie, same messages/posters/etc everywhere), rather than an initiative of individuals.

I'm down in Queen Mary, University of London.
Once school start I'm going to try and pick up a suppoters group at university. Also being apart of the Computer Science Department definately helps too.
Also thinking about setting up a Hacker Society.

Uni of Hertfordshire. Am considering seeing if there enough interest to start a student society there, but will be fairly busy throughout the year so don't know if I'll have the time.
