A meeting in Boscombe near Bournemouth?

Postby DanFoxDavies » Wed Sep 09, 2009 8:57 pm

I wonder if anyone would like to meet to discuss in a laid-back sort of way the Pirate Party and what it's doing around Bournemouth. I can think of one venue that'll probably be perfect for a meet-up of up to a dozen people: www.boscanova.com - Cafe Boscanova is a Bohemian-atmosphere place with fantastic food and drinks. It's become my favourite place in the area for eating out or just a quick smoothie. It has free wi-fi and friendly staff. Anyone interested?

Looks nice, although I cant remember how to get from Winton to Boscombe on the yellow buses I can probably manage it.

The free wifi is always a +1.

I'd be up for a meeting, I'm in Hythe (just between Bourno and Southampton), so I'd be willing to make the journey :)

Well, if we can add one more person, I'd be willing to set a date. :)

AndrewTindall might be interested, he's Christchurch way, which isn't that much of a trek...

Alrighty, how's a provisional date of Sunday 1st November sound? Too early or too late?

sundays aren't too good for me. the already limited bus service is even worse on a sunday. other than that, should be fine. have nothing planned for then.

Can't give any firm replies for around that time since I'm still waiting back on my docterate info.

Also my brithday is on the 10th and I graduate on the 6th so I dont have much time around early nov.

Well, I'm busy 7, 10, 11, 25-31 Oct
And you say we can't do 6th or 10th of Nov.
How about Sat 17th Oct or Sat 7th Nov? I'm trying to avoid weekdays since I assume at least some of the members here are working. (I'm going self-employed shortly so any day I'm not hugely busy is fine)

I warn you, this meeting's going to end up cancelled due to lack of interest at this rate. I thought there were people round here enthusiastic about the cause?
