    General statement from Pirate Party UK about today's suspected terror attack in London


    We are deeply shocked and saddened by the horrific attack earlier today in London. Firstly, our hearts go out to all those caught up in today's incident along with family and friends of those who have lost loved ones or been injured.  
    While the full picture is still emerging, it seems that at least 4 people are confirmed dead and up to 20 others may have been injured....

    In a written statement yesterday the Secretary of State for Transport, Chris Grayling, announced a ban on "Phones, laptops and tablets larger than 16.0cm x 9.3cm x 1.5cm in the cabin on flights to the UK from Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Tunisia."

    The results are in and the Dutch Pirate Party have not managed to secure a seat in the Dutch Parliament - despite an increase in votes from the previous election the share of the vote was only up marginally at 0.3%.
