Candidates
#1 Finlay Archibald
Finlay stood as the Pirate Party candidate in the 2010 General Election in the Glasgow Central constituency, and is now topping the party's Glasgow regional list for the Holyrood election. He sees the Pirate Party as key to putting digital issues and information policy on the agenda at Holyrood, as well as providing a voice for privacy and countering the culture of excessive surveillance.
#2 Mark Wood
Mark is currently Vice-Sectretary of Whilstle-blowing at Pirate Parties International (PPI), and umbrella organisation consisting of Pirate Parties from across the globe. In this role he played a major part in co-ordinating the international response to the attempted censorship of Wikileaks following the release of US diplomatic cables, where Pirate Parties around the world set up a system of mirror websites to ensure that the information would remain online.
