Matters Arising

No matters arising

Web

AH has put together content for a volunteers page for the website to encourage more people to help out within the Party. AH is to send content to EG for volunteers page so that it may be added to the website by the webteam

There has been an increase in the amount of spam occurring on the PPK forums. EG has now taken measures to limit the influx of this spam

Currently there are officials within the Party without PPUK email addresses, EG wishes to tidy up the pool of available addresses and requires that the NEC provide him with a list of email address that can be removed.

Currently the NEC host meetings using the chat client 'Mumble'. The server is currently run by the current Data Controller MG (Miah Gregory), it was discussed that the webteam look into bringing the server in house.

Policy Site

EG to have the Policy platform available for testing by Tuesday 13/09/2011

Conference

The NEC are expecting an update from the conference team this week however EG has been asked to contact the conference team to identify if the conference website is ready to go live

Data Controller

PC has extended the nomination period until 20/09/11

It was noted that one member has nominated themselves now

Membership

AH and GM have been in discussion on how to allow membership signups offline via Direct Debit or cash payments. The NEC believe that an interim process can be put in place to accelerate this, AH is to forward his notes on this to GM. LK is hoping that it is possible to have this interim system in place by 4/10/2011

Web Blocking

There is a meeting scheduled for 20/09/2011 with Ed Vaizey and others including Open Rights Group, Coadec and the Tax payers alliance about web blocking. LK will be in attendance and in the processes of making arrangements for another member to accompany him.

Stats

From next month LK wishes for the statistics available to PPUK to be evaluated and concrete goals to be set for the Party to achieve based on these statistics.
