Start of NEC meeting
Minutes of previous meeting approved.
Graeme has contacted Pete L re: finance for Bury Gig - one pull-out, awaiting confirmation from another band.
Andrew Robinson received letter from Electoral Commission regarding central expenditure report. Pete L to contact EC to confirm details.
Pete L will text Finlay with regards to Freshers Packs.
Merchandising: Approximately 7000 flyers sold. Stickers and other membership pack items not ordered yet.
Forthcoming Elections: No known updates.
ICO Renewal Form: Pete L to email Miah about this.
Regional Administrative Officers: RAOs have been let down with delays in giving them access to information. Decided to get them basic spreadsheets (region, name, truncated postcode) as soon as possible, provide better versions at a later date.
Action: John to get this done for current RAOs. Andrew Robinson to write disclaimer for RAOs to sign, scan, and e-mail to Miah. Peter Brett will update RAOs on situation.
A member has come forward as volunteering to act as RAO for Yorkshire & Humberside.
Freshers: Peter Brett has written a spec for the student landing page. Needs to be up by the 31st August.
No news on freshers packs. Action: Peter Brett to e-mail Finlay for an update, Pete Liddell to phone him.
Membership renewals/payments:Some work is being done on this. Action: Pete L to contact Tom to find out further details and to report back to NEC via list.
Andrew Robinson has been doing a few mail interviews.
Peter Brett suggests increasing awareness of Creative Commons as met someone who didn't know about it.
