Start of web team meeting
Tom joined the call.
NEC thanks Tom for the new site design going live.
Tom provides information for uploading files/images.
Tom left the call.
Start of NEC meeting
Andy gave his apologies for missing last weeks meeting. Internet access problems.
Minutes of last meeting approved.
Date of next election - the later dates are looking more likely, but nothing set in stone.
Constituency organisations, not big enough yet really. John working on regional organisations.
No progress with Featured Artists Coalition.
Digital Economy Bill, lots of interesting amendments proposed by the House of Lords.
Unconference. Decision to hold off on this until closer to the election, perhaps.
Action: Andy will talk to korvalis.
Philip will be coordinating the manifesti drafting process, in order to move the manifesto forward.
Andy is doing another spot tomorrow morning at 8.30am on Radio 5 tomorrow. Will be having a debate/discussion with a very small record label owner with strong views on 'on the spot fines' for illegal downloaders.
