Attendees

Andrew Robinson, Loz Kaye, Peter Brett, John Barron, Miah Gregory

Apologies

Andrew Tindall

Introduction of NEC members to new party leader, Loz Kaye

Approve minutes of last meeting.

These were previously approved on the mailing list and have been published.

Merchandising

Need to transfer Spreadshirt account away from Andrew Robinson to Peter Brett. Action: Andrew Robinson will organise this transfer.

Forthcoming elections

Scottish elections and local elections in May next year. Peter Brett is hoping to talk to Andrew Paliwoda about this after the NEC meeting.

Welcoming the new party leader

Andrew Robinson given hero of the party award by all NEC members present.

Smooth transfer of responsibilities from Andrew Robinson to the new leader

Press contacts

Need to add Loz Kaye to the press mailing list and NEC mailing list, and remove Andrew Robinson from these lists. Action: Miah Gregory will talk to Tom Lilley about this.

Spreadshirt

As above, Andrew Robinson will transfer this across to Peter Brett. A bank account will need to be added once this has been organised to collect the royalties.

Forum admin and access levels

Chris Monteiro is updating the forum access levels for Andrew Robinson and Loz Kaye.

Party’s registered address

Loz Kaye and Peter Liddell need to agree a new address and change Party Leader details. The address on the various internet domains will also need to be changed. Action: John Barron will find out what forms etc need to be filled in and organise this.

Progress with bank accounts

Andrew Robinson has access to the co-op account at this stage.

Membership renewals

Unsure with progress on this front. Plan is to write up a spec, agree it via the officers mailing list, then pass this spec to web team to implement. Action: Peter Brett will write something up and send it to the list.

Ahdkaw’s membership status has been resolved after being in limbo for a month or two, and he has been given additional time on his membership to make up for this.

Web team size

Concern over bottlenecks/burnout/man under bus.

ACS: Law leaks

NEC commented on positive press reaction to our press release, and extensive quotation in the Guardian article.
