Summary
Start of NEC meeting
Minutes of previous meeting approved.
Merchandising. Nothing to report as Peter Brett off on holiday.
Forthcoming elections. No new news.
ICO - new address. Nothing to report.
A disciplinary subcommittee consisting of John Barron, Pete Liddell and Miah Gregory was formed as per section 4.5 of the constitution.
Leadership hustings. We’ve been informed that the candidates intend to have a video/live IRC debate on Wednesday. The NEC has offered whatever assistance/publicity the two candidates would like (within reason). There will be a mail out prior to voting opening in which both candidates will be able to put forward their case.
RAO elections. Yorkshire and Humberside election is starting now, voting will coincide with leadership vote.
Publishing of NEC minutes. It was agreed that the NEC would endeavour to publish minutes immediately following a meeting, on a best effort basis.
John Barron will be liaising with Tom Lilley to produce high level reports based on membership numbers and hopes to extend this to a regional level.
