Matters Arising

LK to inform NEC of venue for the 16th - Ongoing

AH,LK,GM to plan recruitment and fundraising drive. - Merge with similar point
IT Team to provide the generic proxy, but as a low priority. - Ongoing
AH, LK, and GM to plan a specific donation drive to support the Party's IT structure on the 16th. - Ongoing, will be done on Saturday
AH to set up a secondary deposit account in our bank account for GM, if GM unable to set one up on Wednesday. - Ongoing

ACTA Protest

LK notes Pirate participation in ACTA protests and thanks those that came. LK notes that numbers were disappointing, although that was not the Party's responsibility. LK notes disappointment with ORG's delivery of the protest.
LK asks what could have been done differently.
HF notes that the Party was not in a position to deliver on this occasion due to resources needed for the May elections, ORG was far better placed to deliver a protest.
AH notes that ORG failed to deliver what they said they'd deliver.
LK suggests in the future that the Party simply organise that demonstrations ourselves.
AH agrees that we can't rely on groups like ORG.
LK suggests a goal for the next time is to get boots on the ground, good speakers, and decent venues.

Physical NEC Meeting

NEC discuss times and route to Manchester.
AH suggests to get to Manchester for 9AM for 10AM start.

LK suggests an area responsibility roundup during meeting.
LK suggests then approaching big tasks for each area.
LK suggests looking at Party priorities.
AH would like the morning to be used for areas.
AH notes there are only a few things that need going over by whole NEC.
AH suggests that agenda should be placed on wiki as per normal meeting minutes.

Conference

LK notes that the holding page is now up for the conference.
AH notes he has contacted Alan Wykes, and that he needs to get in contact again to catch up.
GM notes that we need to find out what is going on for the conference by Saturday.

PC: Notes that board elections is ongoing. Voting opens on Sunday. PC notes that he is pleased with the amount of questions asked for each nominee

AH: AH and PC have been working on candidate selection process and will drop it to NEC, would like to be looked at and questions given before physical meet.
AH: AH notes campaigns meet last week was a washout, but progress is being made on campaigns team work and some submissions were made for the conference holding page.
AH: AH asks for the status of online PEF stuff.
GM notes that PEF has been set up, GM has an account, needs to chase up to find out how to give other officers PEF access.
//ACTION: GM to contact Electoral Commission (PEF) for support distributing officer accounts and AH's enquiry on Tuesday.
AH: AH notes that he has contacted PC regarding cross-delegating Campaigns and Nominations, needs to know if that's viable with under EC rules.
AH would like to know if Nominations officer can deputise for Campaigns officer and vice versa.

AH: Notes Campaigns is investigating colour changes, logo modification, style guides, etc. AH notes they may involve more pieces of paper to EC.
AH: Notes that a VPN for file storage, printing, etc. may become available to the party in the coming days. AH notes that VPN is designed to be distributed.
AH: Notes that website usage (not proxy) has increased by 400% in roughly 4 weeks.
