Your Party Needs You!

You live in a region where we currently do not have an elected Regional Administrative Officer, because no one from your region has yet come forward to help out.

Regional Administrative Officers (RAOs) are members elected to organise the Pirate Party's activities at a regional level. RAOs are responsible for planning meetings, events, and local campaigning, as well as selecting candidates for their region.

As we approach the local elections in 2011, it is important for us to have a local presence across the UK. We need to be working now to ensure member activity, and public awareness within your region.

If you would be willing to work as Administrative Officer for your region, please make this known to the party by posting on your regional forum: http://www.pirateparty.org.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=18 or by contacting j.barron@pirateparty.org.uk.

Even if you are not able to be RAO, there are still opportunities to get involved in campaigning in your region! For example, we're currently looking for volunteers to help out with our "freshers' week" student awareness campaigns -- for details contact f.archibald@pirateparty.org.uk

The success of the Pirate Party hinges on the hard work of our members to function, and we appreciate any support you can give.
