Peter Hague stood forward as East Midlands regional administrator during the 2010 general election.

However, no candidates presented themselves for that position subsequent to the election. As regional administrators have a key role in bringing forward and approving candidates, this is a necessary prerequisite for selecting or re-ratifying East Mids candidates for parliamentary or European elections.

As usual, candidates for local council elections will be approved automatically if a Pirate member in good standing, and in the absence of contention, and this is always a good way to contribute to the party and demonstrate commitment/draw attention to yourself for further consideration.
