I'm an English software engineer / architect living in Falkirk, Scotland. I'm not overly politically active, but I do bug my local MP over Twitter quite a lot (@ericjoyce).

I actually believe that the entire political system is flawed and we don't even really need MPs. People need to be more actively involved in politics and take a more direct responsibility for how the country is run.

Until this revolution, however, the Pirate Party is the first party that has come along which stands for something I strongly believe in.
