I have updated the consitution with the revised section 8 approved by member vote, which puts in place a Board of Governors to be elected by members and which will oversee future constitutional modification. -- --JohnB 20:29, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

This now needs to be implemented by the National Executive Committee.

Please note that the original constitution submitted to the Electoral Commission, to the best of my understanding, is only used by them to verify the application for party registration, and is not thereafter retained, nor are subsequent amendments of immediate interest to them.

Therefore, for better or worse, this has now ceased to be a temporary document and has become the permanent constitution of the Pirate Party UK, and can only be amended according to the provisions described within it. --JohnB 20:29, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
