European Elections 2014 - 2 days to go!

The European Parliamentary elections, as well as local elections in Lambeth and Manchester, are only two days away! And we need your help to get the most out of these last days as possible!

For this election we've put more leaflets through letterboxes, shared more images and posters, and talked about more policy via social media than in any election, or cluster of elections before. More people know us, like us, and will be able to vote for us!

We have had huge numbers of people call and email us, asking us about our core issues as well as our positions, and the issues that they believe in. Even better are the messages from people who contacted us to tell us they will be voting Pirate, or simply offered encouragement. (keep doing that, it keeps morale high!).

Not only are people telling us they will be voting for us, but they are joining the party and getting involved. More than 160 people have donated almost £4,000 via our crowd-funding project. We've seen a surge in new members and volunteers over the last weeks, a surge that will mean the party is in even better shape after the elections.

Our candidates have been busy too. They have been out running events, canvassing and asking people to Vote Pirate on the 22nd. Maria, Jack and George have helped make our the case on the radio, on TV and attended hustings in London and around the North West.

But the next two days count. You can still help. In fact, we need your help now to get the most out of the work we've already done! All the pretty things

We've put lots of election material online over the last few months. You can help us by sharing it. If you are in the North West, in Lambeth (or anywhere else!), print a 'Vote Pirate' poster (or grab one for the specific election) and stick it in your window. Give some to your friends and ask them to do the same, ask if you can put one up in your local shop, or anywhere else you can think of! Let's be as visible as possible in the run up to the vote!

Do get in touch on social media too, it's great to hear from members!

When you do, take a photo and let us know via email, twitter or facebook! That way we can share them and show people that our support is out there, and will make a difference.

If you are in or around London and want to help getting the vote out, get in touch with london@pirateparty.org.uk and we'll get you involved. If you are in Manchester, you can do the same via manchester@pirateparty.org.uk. Anywhere else in the North west, get in touch with campaigns@pirateparty.org.uk and we'll see if we can get you involved too!.

Lastly, in addition to the £100's in donations that you have made via pirateparty.org.uk, our crowd-funding effort is still up and we are still a little over £1,000.00 short of our £5000.00 target. If we don't hit the target we don't get the money, so donate! Lets get above that £5,000 target!

So, the next few days are going to be busy, and we'll appreciate any support we can get!

On Tuesday, our candidates will be on reddit from 1000 doing an AMA, answering questions and being available to anyone who wants to talk to them, so get involved in that if you have anything you want to ask or say. We are also planning an hour long video Q&A via google hangouts for Wednesday evening - details on that will follow.

With all the hard work we have put in, and given the great candidates we put forward, I think we can be certain that we will have put our mark on these elections. We've managed to get some of our issues on to the agenda already, we will keep building on that.

There is a lot of work left to do, but with your help, we'll get there!
