Board of Governors Election - June 2017

Three seats are currently available on the Board of Governors, two vacant and one becoming vacant following a resignation. Please see this overview and our Constitution for details of the Board's role and election procedures. If you require any additional information, or would like to talk about this feel free to email us on nominatons@pirateparty.org.uk, or pop into the Discord server, where there's pretty much always a bunch of Pirates ready and willing to chat.

Ordinarily, being a Board member would be a great way of getting involved in the party's governance without the commitment to day-to-day running activities that comes with being a member of the NEC, however more recently this hasn't been the case. We are hoping that we can resume usual operations soon, with the Board maintaining supervisory and oversight roles, while the NEC runs the day-to-day operations.

Any member in good standing may nominate themselves, and must be seconded by another member in good standing. (You will more than likely find someone to second you on the party's Discord server. Don't be surprised if you are asked for a brief summary of why you're interested in participating!)

Nominations: Open until 29 June, 2017 - 19:30
