Party Organisation


This organisational chart is meant to be descriptive rather than prescriptive, and should be used to understand various areas within the Party as it currently functions. As such, this organisation chart is subject to amendment from time to time. The latest version will always be hosted here. Latest Revision March 2017. 

 

 

National Executive Committee

The National Executive Committee (NEC) is the executive body of the Pirate Party UK. They handle the general administration of the party, and sit at the top of this organisational chart.

The NEC consists of the Elected Officers – Party Leader, Nominating Officer, Campaigns Manager, Treasurer and Party Secretary. These officers may also appoint members to serve as their deputies and work alongside them.

The responsibilities as shown on the above organisational chart are:

 

Party Leader / Deputy Leader

Party Secretary / Deputy Secretary

  • Oversees Policy Co-ordination in the Policy Team.
  • Oversees the IT Team Leader.
  • Responsible for Member Co-ordination, including communicating to and working with our volunteers.
     

Campaigns Officer / Deputy Campaigns Officer

Nominations Officer / Deputy Nominations Officer

Treasurer / Deputy Treasurer

  • Responsible for Treasury Team.
  • Responsible for Procurement Team.
