Operation Doubloons is live!

Our 2017 snap general election crowdfunder has just gone live. Score yourself some Pirate booty, and help make politics a little bit better at the same time.

We're polling at record highs and have a record number of candidates standing ready, but we need your help. Sadly, creating a free culture doesn't come cheap! We've already spent over £5,000 in deposits alone to run 10 candidates, and more than £10,000 on election materials. Compare that to the millions the mainstream parties spend, and we have a long way to go.

That's where you can help us. We know lots of people are after your money, but other parties aren't interested saving our Internet and protecting our freedom, which means we need Pirates now more than ever. We can only do what we do thanks to our generous donors.

Unlike other parties, we're not funded by Lords and lobbyists; we're funded by people like you, who believe in what we do.

With your help we can start to match them.

£5 can pay for phone calls during an election campaign.

£50 can get us 1,500 election leaflets to deliver.

£500 can run a Pirate for Parliament.

To get the update this country needs, we need to think different - and vote for something different. Protecting our personal freedoms, putting an end to mass surveillance and standing up for free speech needs a strong voice, a Pirate voice.

One more Tory backbencher doesn't change the status quo. One Pirate MP changes the whole debate.

If you want to help us change that debate, please donate what you can.

About Pirate Party UK

The Pirate Party in the UK is a fledgling political party. It has fielded a few candidates in European and National elections, but like most small parties it is significantly constrained by the UK electoral system. Despite this, the Pirate Party has started to poll alongside major parties and is looking to build support from the grassroots. The party is standing 10 candidates in the June 2017 General Election.
